In shots fired near a university campus in Baltimore, in the US state of Marylandseveral people were hit. Baltimore police announced Tuesday night on the online service X, formerly known as Twitter, that they were on duty for shots fired on the grounds of Morgan State University.
Police reported several casualties and advised: “Please stay where you are and avoid the area.”
University of Baltimore warns students after shooting
The university also appealed to students and their families not to stay in the affected area. The university is a historically African-American institution with approximately 9,000 students.
