On Friday 6th, Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th January the free heritage discovery initiatives of the Civic Museums of Parma will continue with the art workshops and presentations of the Pinacoteca Stuard and the Castello dei Burattini – Museo Giordano Ferrari . The activities for adults and children are carried out by the museum’s professional staff and are promoted by the Cultural Department of the Municipality of Parma.
Friday January 6th
PUPPET LOCK – 11.00 am: Presentation of the Marionette Castle – Giordano Ferrari Museum
The museum tour, dedicated to one of the largest collections of puppets and marionettes that belonged to the Compagnia dei Ferrari and other families of puppeteers, is illustrated. No reservation is required.
STUARD ART GALLERY – 11.00 am: The Kings
Workshop for children from 4 to 10 years.
Some works in the Pinakothek tell us how the painters represented the theme of the Nativity, on Epiphany we build our nativity scene together using the figures of the Three Kings. Max. 8 participants. Reservation is required: Tel. 0521 218420. The use of a mask is recommended.
Saturday January 7th

11:30 a.m.: The Theater of Shadows
Workshop for children from 4 to 10 years.
After exploring the museum, young participants build their own shadow, which can be animated like real pros. Together we can also create “Christmas” shadows! Max. 6 participants. Reservation is required: Tel. 0521 031631. The use of a mask is recommended.
