Under the auspices of the Agricultural University of Havana Fructuoso Rodríguez Pérez de Mayabeque, the V International Congress of Agricultural Sciences (Agrociencias 2023) will meet at the Plaza América Convention Center in Varadero.
Jaruco Municipal University Center’s Knowledge Management Room project is participating in the grand event along with other representatives from 15 countries.
During the congress, which started on the day of World Environment Day celebrations and will last until June 9, Jaruqueños educators Licenciada Irisbey Jiménez and Master in Social Sciences Yasmany Vicente will present three lectures on the themes of Innovation, Territorial Development and Social Justice.
The V AGROCIENCIAS 2023 Congress is also an opportunity to know the strengths and potential of agricultural sciences in Cuba, to learn from our differences, to make agreements, to plan joint work for the future and to strengthen the fraternal bonds between students and professionals of all disciplines contribute to agricultural sciences and provide better science for sustainable and sustainable agriculture within the framework of a social and solidarity economy and as an innovation for food sovereignty.
