No signs of desperation

People from the neighborhood that TVA Nouvelles interviewed about the tragedy said they did not hear an argument or a distress scream coming from the house.

A neighbor who lives across the street knew the victim and she even adopted one of her kittens.

According to her, her partner had joint custody of two children who visited him every other weekend. There were no signs that the woman feared for her safety.

“She didn’t seem distressed to me. “We couldn’t have expected something like that,” she said.

Another neighbor said the woman often walked around with her head bowed. On the other hand, he described the spouse's temperament as “agitated” and his nature as “complicated.”

It is currently unknown if the spouse is the suspect in this case.
