Musk has top post voted on Twitter

New Twitter owner and Tesla CEO Elon Musk posted a poll yesterday on the short messaging service about whether he should step down as CEO of the platform. Musk wrote about the poll on Twitter that he would bow to the outcome of the vote.

Voting is scheduled to end at 1:20 pm CET today. The billionaire did not say when he would step down, if poll results suggest that. “There is no successor,” Musk responded when asked by a Twitter user about a possible change to the post.

However, Twitter will prohibit its users from posting links to competing online platforms in the future. The company announced that “any free advertising” for certain other networks will be removed from user posts and accounts.
