Montreal Canadiens junior Owen Beck played his first game with his new team, the Saginaw Spirit, on Wednesday night.
In fact, the 19-year-old center collected no fewer than six points, including two goals, in his team's 11-3 win against the Windsor Spitfires.
He set a team record for most points in his first game.
Beck was traded to the Peterborough Petes last Monday for 16-year-old winger Aiden Young, two second-round draft picks (2025 and 2027) and a third-round selection (2026).
In 26 games so far this season in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), Beck has scored 36 points, including 18 goals.
