Mustang Mach-e Rallye: for the road and the mud – Le Soleil de Châteauguay

Mustang Mach e Rallye for the road and the mud

Here is Ford’s first electric vehicle that has the right to drive on off-road tracks and in the mud. This machine features a modified version of the Mustang Mach-E GT powertrain with a dual electric motor setup for a target torque of 650 lb-ft and a target power of 480 hp.

A unique suspension

The vehicle is supported by a special suspension that has been raised by 20 mm compared to the Mustang Mach-E GT. In addition, it is equipped with specially tuned springs, MagneRide shock absorbers and 385mm front brake discs with red painted Brembo brand calipers. The model can count on a 91 kWh battery with a range of 405 km.

Specific tires

To dominate dirt roads, the Mustang Mach-E Rally is equipped with 19-inch rally-style alloy wheels and Michelin Cross Climate2 235/55 R19 tires, which provide wider sidewalls and excellent grip on furniture surfaces. Because customers have a lot of fun in the gravel, the underbody is equipped with protective shields to protect the front and rear electric motors, a protective film on the door panels and wheel arches to reduce the risk of paint chips, and optional mud flaps for dealer installation to guard against flying debris to reduce. A lifebuoy is integrated into the front apron and the vehicle also has an integrated hook in case the off-road adventure becomes a little too strenuous.

A slightly different style

The Mustang Mach-E Rally also has an appearance that lives up to its name, with a spectacular rear spoiler inspired by the Focus RS, specific contrast elements including upper and lower body moldings, a special front splitter, a black painted steel roof and a distinctive and functional front apron incorporating rally-style fog lights. Standard equipment on every Mustang Mach-E Rally includes two decorative racing stripes that complement this version’s dynamic color palette. It can be ordered in Bright Blue, Shadow Black, Eruption Green and, for an additional charge, in a striking Bright Yellow or Star White or Glacier Gray.

Functional interior

The interior combines comfort and functionality with a style that matches the iconic white wheels. The dashboard and lower steering wheel spokes feature high-gloss white contrast accents, and the door panels feature contrast stitching. Drivers slide into Ford-designed performance seats with gloss white backrests and “Mach-E Rally” embossed into the seat base. The model will reach dealers in early 2024, and a price has not yet been announced.
