Myer hires Lara Worthington for a new summer fashion campaign to attract young, savvy customers
Lara Worthington has become known as a fashion icon.
And Myer is betting that beauty will attract young consumers, the Daily Telegraph reported on Sunday.
The 36-year-old model has become the face of Myer’s spring-summer campaign and hopes she will be a draw for the department store, as she has done for labels Atoir and Local Supply.
Lara models items from Country Road, Witchery, Ralph Lauren and Basque as part of the appearance.
Fashion commentator Kellie Hush told the publication that Lara had a unique appeal.

“She is the girl next door who lives a global lifestyle and wears the most incredible fashion,” she said.
“But she looks just as great running around after her little boys in jeans and a t-shirt,” Hush continued.
“Their authenticity coupled with incredible beauty is what makes them so marketable.”

While Lara has been wearing shorter hair for some time, she has still cut off a few centimeters.
Lara’s hair now sits just below her ears and in a selfie she posted to Instagram, she seemed thrilled with her new look.
The blonde beauty spends her time in New York and Sydney with her husband Sam Worthington and their three children.
