Nancy Pelosi believes the US is doomed if Donald Trump becomes president again and says the latest indictment against the ex-president has the best chance of putting him in jail rather than the White House.

The former speaker of the House of Representatives began an argument with Trump after he claimed he looked like a “terrified puppy” during his appearance in court in DC on Thursday.

She also called the third and most recent indictment against Trump “beautiful” and said he knew he had to face the music for trying to overturn the 2020 election results.

Should Trump become president again, Pelosi claims, the US as we know it would no longer exist.

After the former Speaker of the House said Trump looked like a “terrified puppy” when he was impeached Thursday, the former President called Pelosi the “wicked witch.”

Trump responded to Pelosi’s remarks as a “terrified pooch” by calling her the “wicked witch” who “makes someone live in hell.”

When asked about the possibility of Trump getting a second chance in the White House, Pelosi told New York Magazine, “Don’t even think about it.”

“Don’t think the world is on fire,” the California Democrat added in the article published Monday. “This cannot happen or we will not be the United States of America.”

“If he became president, it would be a criminal endeavor in the White House.”

Trump has now faced three charges, the first in March when he was charged with his hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels. The second case occurred in June related to his mishandling of classified information. And no later than this month, the ex-president has been indicted on four counts of conspiracy to overturn the 2020 election results.

“The indictments against the President are exquisite,” Pelosi told NYMag, citing the most recent indictments and the few dozen in the classified documents case.

She added, “They’re beautiful and intricate, and they probably have a better chance of being won over than anything I could come up with.”

When Pelosi was still Speaker of the House, she led two impeachment trials against Trump in the House of Commons. Both times Trump was acquitted by the Senate.

Dissecting Trump’s tough-guy image, Pelosi said the 2024 Republican frontrunner looked like a “scared puppy” when he appeared in court Thursday.

The California lawmaker, now known as Speaker Emeritus, mocked Trump hours after he pleaded not guilty after glancing at Special Counsel Jack Smith in a federal courthouse.

“Of course I wasn’t in the courtroom. “But when I saw him get out of his car and do this or that, I saw a scared puppy,” she said after Trump flew to Washington for his 27-minute hearing before a US judge, then addressed cameras and blew up the city he lived four years.

Trump appeared in court in Washington, DC Thursday for arraignment in his third and most recent indictment. Pelosi said, “When I saw him get out of his car … I saw a frightened puppy.”

“He seemed very, very, very worried about fate,” Pelosi told MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell. “I didn’t see any bravery or confidence or anything like that.” He knows he knows the truth, that he lost the election and now he has to face the music.’

Trump said now that Pelosi is after him, he can go after her. He claimed he wanted to remain respectful when it came to the story, which involved how her husband was the victim of a burglary.

“I intentionally didn’t comment on Nancy Pelosi’s very strange story about her husband, but now I can because she happily said something about me that was really quite malicious,” Trump posted on his social media platform Truth Social.

He said it was “mean to say that.”

“She is a wicked witch whose husband begins and ends the journey from Hell with her,” Trump wrote. “She’s a sick and demented psychopath who will one day live in HELL!”
