Naomi wore her tresses poker straight style and complemented her outfit with a red necklace.

Kehinde Wiley, Stella Jean alias Stella Novarino and Afua Hirsch discussed with her.

The event comes after Naomi attended the star-studded Fashion Trust Arabia Prize event on Wednesday night in Doho.

On Tuesday, she attended a VIP dinner in the capital, Doha, to mark the opening of the Baghdad: Eye’s Delight exhibition at the Museum of Islamic Art.

The model has been criticized by gay rights activists for agreeing to host a “spectacular” runway show in the country.

Gay men and women are persecuted in the Arab nation, where homosexuality is considered abnormal and punishable by three years in prison.

Human rights organization Amnesty International said women and LGBTQ+ people “continue to face discrimination by law and practice” in the country.

Naomi has often spoken out publicly for the LGBT community. In 2021, she signed a letter of support for the LGBT community in Ghana along with a number of celebrities.

She once said, “Without gay men, I wouldn’t exist… I owe my life to gay men. That’s just what I grew up with. It’s my family.”

Gay rights activist Peter Tatchell, who said he was arrested by officers this week while protesting gay rights in Qatar, said: “Miss Campbell’s commitment is commendable given the country’s appalling restrictions on women and… inconsistent with the criminalization of LGBT people.”

Naomi’s spokesperson said: “She is known to be supportive of the LBGTQ+ community and understands that getting involved in places like Qatar is an essential step towards positive change.

“To suggest that their Emerge initiative is in any way an affront to the LGBTQ+ community shows a lack of understanding of who [she] is as a human being and as a citizen of the world.”
