Naomi Campbell rocks a dramatic feather headpiece and opera-length gloves from Dolce & Gabbana as she graces the cover of Vanity Fair’s fashion issue – featuring models from the past FOUR DECADES

Legendary supermodel Naomi Campbell looked absolutely stunning as she graced the cover of Vanity Fair’s special Fashion issue, which profiled supermodels from the last four decades.

Posing with her head tilted slightly to the side and a hand resting on the side of her face, the 53-year-old fashion legend oozed glamor while wearing a dramatic black feather headpiece and an ensemble by Dolce & Gabbana.

In the black-and-white image, the mother-of-two, who gave birth to her second child, a baby boy, in June, gazed wistfully into the distance while wearing classic winged eyeliner and creamy matte lipstick.

The undisputed queen of the runway wore a pair of opera-length lace gloves for an elegant flair.

The photo was taken by Swiss-Italian fashion photography duo Luigi Murenu and Iango Henzi (known as Luigi & Iango).

Campbell also took center stage in the latest issue of Vanity Fair, in a shimmering maroon dress, alongside the other greatest supermodels the world has ever seen.

Cindy Crawford, Carla Bruni, Claudia Schiffer, Kristen McMenamy, Elisabetta Dessy, Christy Turlington, Shalom Harlow, Penelope Tree, Eva Herzigova, Lauren Hutton, Iman, Milla Jovovich, Helena Christensen, Amber Valletta, Pat Cleveland, Stephanie Seymour, Carolyn Murphy, Kirsten Owen and Paulina Porizkova were all involved in filming.

The issue was dedicated to the best supermodels of the 1990s and introduced other icons from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s.

Campbell was first discovered in Convent Garden as a teenager and reported on Britain’s Elle shortly before her 16th birthday.

She later appeared for fashion giants such as Versace and Dior and is one of the “Big Six”, a group of supermodels who dominated the industry and included the likes of Kate Moss and Linda Evangelista.

In her early modeling days, Naomi struggled with drug addiction and entered rehab in 1999 after five years of cocaine addiction. She has since spoken openly about her period of drug use.

As one of the top supermodels in history, Naomi has earned millions, enjoyed incredible career success, and traveled the world.

But last year she admitted her demanding jet-setting lifestyle meant at least one major sacrifice – finding a long-term romantic partner.

“I would say the sacrifice is really finding that soulmate that understands you,” she told The Cut.

Over the summer, she announced on social media that she was welcoming the birth of her son, declaring, “It’s never too late to become a mother.”

“My little darling, know that from the moment you graced us with your presence, you are valued beyond measure and surrounded by love.” “A true gift from God,” she captioned a photo she cradled her son while her two-year-old daughter held his hand.

She continued, “A true gift from God, blessed! Welcome, baby.”

Naomi’s surprise announcement comes after she gave birth to her first child, a daughter, in May 2021.

She shocked her fans when she announced the birth of her daughter, just weeks after walking the Michael Kors runway in New York with no visible baby bump.

In an interview with British Vogue a year later, the model insisted her daughter was not adopted while revealing her face for the first time.

She did not disclose how she welcomed her daughter, but four years ago credited science with giving her the opportunity to start a family “whenever she wants,” suggesting that she is leaning toward it to hire a surrogate mother.

Naomi last dated rapper Skepta in 2018, but enjoyed a fling with One Direction’s Liam Payne the following year.

Over the years, she also cultivated high-profile relationships with the likes of Diddy, Robert De Niro, Mike Tyson and Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin.

Although she is notoriously private about her love life, the star has previously stated that she is on “good terms” with her exes and is not currently dating anyone new.
