Tennis player Naomi Osaka used her time in Japan to show admirers her ‘baby bump’, a sign her pregnancy is going well.

On Tuesday, the 25-year-old athlete posted a series of photos to her Instagram account highlighting the curve of her stomach. This is a first since it was announced on January 11th. With the confirmation that her couple, also formed by rapper Cordae, is expecting a child, the holder of four Grand Slam final victories justified her withdrawal from the Australian Open.
“Those few months away from my sport have really given me a renewed love and appreciation for the game I’ve dedicated my life to,” the Japanese player wrote on her social media.
“I realize that life is so short and I don’t take a moment for granted. Every day is a new blessing and a new adventure. I know I have so much to hope for in the future. What I look forward to is when my kid sees one of my games and says to someone, ‘This is my mom’.”
