NASA launches its free streaming service: we explain what it is – Midi Libre

The American space agency will launch its own streaming service on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, which will be accessible for free on smartphones, computers and televisions worldwide.

NASA will therefore launch a completely new platform, completely free, without advertising and accessible to everyone, with live events and a whole range of original series on the program.

The streaming service announced this summer was called NASA+. No subscription is required. It will be available in any web browser at nasa.gov/plus, but also through the American agency’s official mobile application on iOS and Android.

If you want, you can also enjoy it on your TV via your Apple TV, Roku or Fire TV system.

Which programs?

As for the content of the shows, NASA promises to immerse the viewer in the various missions of the past, present and future.

The first programs already announced include “NASA Talks,” “NASA Kids,” “The Color of Space,” “Space Out” and “NASA Explorers.” The programs are also dedicated to images from the James Webb Telescope and the preparations for the Artemis moon mission.

“With NASA’s new streaming platform, we are making space available to you on demand,” promises the American agency. To wait, you can always visit NASA’s exciting YouTube channel.
