Rio Nataly Mega, 35, gave her first interview since announcing the end of her fiveyear marriage to Fábio Porchat, 39. The film’s producer confirmed that the main reason for the split was the fact that the comedian doesn’t want children. However, the Frambösa Films owner said that the comedian even changed his mind but went back, which sparked the relationship crisis between the two.

“When we started dating, Fábio used to tell people he didn’t want to be a father, but to me at home he said he would have children. I didn’t understand it very well, but he was very close to children. At family dinners, I loved playing with my godchildren. We planned to have a child in the second half of 2022, shortly after our vow renewal party. And everything was fine, we went to the consultation, the freezing of the embryos was done. Until, just before the date, Fábio said, ‘I don’t want to,'” she told Marie Claire magazine.
Then Nataly continued: “I saw myself at the front without children. The possibility of not having a family moved me. So I said: ‘But I want to’. He had even gone on a trip to Portugal alone and was thinking.” on the subject. He came back and said he wanted. Then everything changed. We decided to break up and everything fell apart in front of me very quickly. He was away from home at the end of December, it’s even difficult to process. he confessed.
The producer also assured that the two have a good relationship, although they disagreed on motherhood and fatherhood. “We had a peaceful marriage, I was very happy, I can’t say anything bad, the partnership was very good and I can count our struggles on my fingers,” he said.
Although they split in December 2022, the announcement that the two were no longer together didn’t come until January of this year. “We had planned to tell it later, but it leaked. I believe this was after he was seen hanging out with someone else, something I was not aware of. So I had no choice. It was difficult for me and is still time, I had to deal with the opinion of a lot of people who had no idea what was happening in my house,” she said.
At the same time as the divorce became public, Nataly was still dealing with her father’s hospitalization and his death the following month. “My family found out about the split through the media. I couldn’t tell my dad, it was a complicated, insane moment. I cried all day, I just wanted to go down a hole,” added the businesswoman.
She also revealed that after the marriage ended, she began to reconsider the future: “My dream is not just to be a mother, but to start a family with someone I love. I thought I was in a stable marriage. Now that I don’t have that person anymore, someone I trust and have feelings for, I feel like my dream is a little bit over. And I’m not running out of time. That’s not even a problem for me. It’s about being with someone I love. And when it happens, it happens,” Natalie explained.
Meanwhile, the producer said she’s focused on work and getting rid of the image of “Fábio Porchat’s exwife.” “Many credit Fábio for my place and that’s not fair to me or my partner. Sometimes I didn’t feel respected. Maybe because of my posture, my sweet way of speaking. I feel like women need it more in order to gain respect,” he lamented.
“My partner has already heard that working with me is a good strategy because Fábio would open doors for us. People still see me as his wife, mainly because we work in the same environment. I hope that I will be one I can get my image back one day because people put me in the shade. Now that I’m with my company, it’s going to be a fresh start. It’s a challenge, but at the same time it’s a dream come true,” added Nataly.
