This recommendation was made despite Article 29 of an internal administrative regulation, which provides for the application of this sanction only in the event of a judicial conviction.
“Only serious errors committed by a member of the Order that have led to his conviction by judicial, civil or criminal authorities, i.e. “ says the document obtained by Le Devoir thanks to the law on access to documents held by public bodies.
However, it is specified that a “warning” is possible for “minor, even publicly known defects”.
Gérard Depardieu was made a Knight of the National Order of Quebec in 2002.
A few days ago, Prime Minister François Legault removed the actor due to comments made in a report broadcast in France.
“Women love to ride horses,” Gérard Depardieu said during a 2018 visit to North Korea to mark the communist dictatorship’s 70th anniversary. Her clitoris rubs against the saddle pommel. They have a lot of fun, they’re big sluts, that’s all.”
