Also, an elite baseball player, USC, Texas and Oregon round out the finalists, with the Trojans believed to be the biggest threat to the two-time defending champion.
With around 23 hours ahead of the five-star athlete Nyckole’s Harbour scheduled to announce his commitment, I wrote on South Carolina’s website that if nothing changes, I think the Outstanding Archbishop Carroll of Washington (DC) would be a Gamecock. I also said later that day on the 247Sports Recruiting Show that Harbor Camp continued to communicate with the other finalists, particularly Maryland and Oregon. 247Sports heard from Azuka Harbor, Nyckoles’ father, early Wednesday morning about the official visit they paid to Eugene over the weekend.
“Nyck had a wonderful visit,” said the elder Harbour.
“The highlight is touring the village/town of Nike, having lunch with the President of the Oregon Ducks and meeting a lot of nice and nice people.”
I think I’m leaning against Oregon for Top247 cornerback Rodrick pleasant even. USC is the other finalist and I know the excitement that came out of the Polynesian Bowl favored the Trojans. Maybe he’s still playing for Lincoln Riley. When the Ducks Harbor and Pleasant land, they will rise from 10th to 7th in the 247Sports Composite Team Rankings.
Attempting to nail the recruiting of the Top247 quarterback Jaden Rashada, I think communication with TCU has gone down. With that, you’re starting to like where Arizona State sits with the talented passer from Pittsburgh, California High. The Sun Devils had visitors two weekends ago and the Horned Frogs last weekend.
On Top247’s offensive tackle Chimdy Onoh announces his college decision that I will ride Penn State over Michigan State. If the Nittany Lions add Onoh, they’ll finish with one of the best offensive moves in the country. The Nittany Lions currently have the No. 14 class in the country.
I still like Kentucky as a four-star lineman William Spencer and believe they are in a good position to turn around the four-star 247Sports Composite defender Kendrick Gilbert.
I did a 247Sports Crystal Ball Forecast for Michigan earlier in the day to turn over the four-star defender Cameron Brandt from Stanford and made a prediction for Wisconsin to win the coveted nose tackle Jamel Howard.
I also made a 247Sports Crystal Ball Forecast for Running Back LJ Martin move from Stanford to BYU.
