Natiruts announce the end of the band after 28 years with a farewell tour

The reggae band was founded in Brasília in 1996. “Liberdade pra Dentro da Cabeça” (1998), “Deixa o Menino Jogar” (1997), “Quero Ser Feliz Too” (2006) and “Presente de um Beijaflor” (1997) are among the group's biggest hits.

Natiruts received two Latin Grammy nominations. The most recent success came in 2021 with the song “Lágrimas de Alegria” in collaboration with Maneva in the “Best Song in Portuguese” category.

The first nomination for the award took place in 2013. The album “Natiruts Acústico no Rio de Janeiro” was named the best contemporary pop album at the time.

The album “Natiruts Reggae Brasil” won DVD gold in 2016. Over time the band has released nine studio albums, four live albums and three DVDs.
