On Tuesday December 12th there was a festive atmosphere in the parish hall of Saint-Martial. Completely full, it received all seniors from the ADMR, the nursing homes (Fontanelle and Sauveterre) and others. Children from the local school joined them and offered them songs and poems. This project is the result of the management of the ADMR, led by its President Jean-Louis Grèzes-Besset, the staff and volunteers, and responds to the project launched by the Conference of Funders Actors in Prevention (Department , ARS, CARSAT). , MSA, CPAM, ANAH, Rodez Agglo, MF, Pension Fund). The local ADMR has focused on preventing older people's health, combating isolation, and empowering and supporting caregivers. In 2023, five thematic days were organized: March 14th in Centprès, June 21st at the Fontanelle nursing home, September 21st at the Sauveterre nursing home, November 8th in Camjac and December 12th in Tauriac. More than 160 participants, to which are added the 32 students of the city, for this final meeting in the form of a Christmas snack. The main goal of the project was to create meeting times, a successful bet. During the meetings, the elderly waited impatiently for the next session, a sign of joy in the relationship. In the introduction, the President of the ADMR, Jean-Louis Grèzes-Besset, thanked all the partners, the departmental advisor Jacques Barbezange, the volunteers and the collaborators, without whom the project could not have existed.
