Dressing up for Christmas: NBA stars show off their weird and wonderful fashions ahead of festive games, while Luka Doncic dons a full cowboy outfit in Dallas, James Harden wears a pink BALACLAVA in New York – and Russell Westbrook dons a skirt in LA!
NBA stars across the country took advantage of their Christmas Day games to showcase some bold fashion choices that arrived in style ahead of their celebratory games.
Perhaps craziest was Philadelphia 76ers guard James Harden, who donned a pink balaclava at Madison Square Garden while also sporting a colorful jacket and a bag adorned with tulips.
His teammate PJ Tucker, meanwhile, appeared to take inspiration from one of the team’s senior pros and donned his own green balaclava – to match the rest of his green outfit.
Balaclavas were the order of the day for both James Harden (L) and PJ Tucker (R) in New York
Luka Doncic drove into the arena in a vintage car and also surprised the fans with his choice of outfit
The Mavs star got out of the car in a full cowboy outfit, complete with hat and belt
In Dallas, meanwhile, it was a very different mood for Luka Doncic, the Mavericks star whose outfit prompted social media users to ask if he “lost a bet.”
He arrived at the game in style, driving a vintage car before stepping out to reveal a full cowboy outfit complete with belt and boots.
The laughing three-time All-Star, originally from Slovenia, was filmed making his way through security scanners before the game.
Russell Westbook regularly pushes fashion boundaries, and so it was today
Jaden Springer of the Philadelphia 76ers arrives in New York in an all lilac number
Montrezl Harrell chose a velvet blazer, while for Tobias Harris it was a black and white number
In the same city, LA Lakers’ Russell Westbrook caused quite a stir by donning – not for the first time – a skirt for a very fashion forward arrival.
The 76ers’ Jaden Springer was another outfit worth noting after he showed up in the Big Apple wearing a matching lilac down jacket and pants.
Montrezl Harrell, meanwhile, wore a velvet blazer and it was a black and white zebra number for Tobias Harris.
