Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry left fans in awe after a video of the two-time NBA MVP sinking multiple full-court shots went viral, but the clip was later revealed to be fake.
The clip, directed by Ari Fararooy, showed the NBA superstar pulling off five massive three-pointers in a row at the Warriors’ training facilities.
The four-time NBA champion shot balls down the length of the court before exiting in triumph after the fifth and final slipped through the net.

The video, posted by Sport Illustrated on social media, sparked awe from some fans while others were more dubious.
The doubters’ suspicions were confirmed after the Associated Press reported that the Warriors had confirmed it wasn’t real – although the franchise had previously shared it on their own account with the caption ‘Steph gonna STEPH’.
While the majority of responses to the clip called it fake, others claimed that if anyone could make the feat possible, it would be Curry.
Taking to social media, the user wrote: “But what if it’s real, which just shows you how good Steph is? It could be real He’s so damn good!’
Some social media users felt that only the two-time MVP could have made the feat possible
“It has to be fake but if there was a man who could do it it would be this guy,” added another.
While one claimed the star was “so unreal,” it made the decision between real and fake difficult to make.
Before it was confirmed to be fake, some fans were adamant that the viral video was somehow real.
One praised Curry’s skills as they said: “Here’s another robot in the sports game. Men like Dinho or Steph Curry just don’t miss out.”
Another added: “This reminds me of those old crazy Nike commercials that looked real… except this is real. Somehow.’

“If it had been someone else I might have called it wrong but we’re talking about Steph here,” claimed another. “Ray Allen will eat your heart out.”
The video was shot by the same director who photographed NFL star Tom Brady hitting a hole-in-one earlier this year.
The Buccaneers quarterback and seven-time NFL champion posted a video of a stunning golf swing on social media in May, which immediately drew skeptics among his 2.7 million followers, who labeled the video as “fake” and “clickbait.”
Tom Brady took to the internet after posting a stunning golf shot that some called a ‘fake’.
Brady, who has been accused by his fans of staging videos in the past, stands on the fairway in this scene before firing a shot at the pin before going straight in goal.
“That looks good,” Brady says while watching his shot. ‘That goes in. That’s in!’
The Tampa QB immediately jumps around in incredulous celebration, but fans of his found it hard to believe, especially after seeing the cinematography of the drone footage made it seem too slick.
