Michigan will host the first round of the 2022 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.
The Wolverines will play Colorado State on Thursday, a game starting at 12:15 pm ET, the first game of the first round.
It will air on CBS with Ian Eagle as game-by-game commentator, Jim Spanarkel as color commentator and Jamie Erdal reporting from the backyard of Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
According to the bookmakers, Michigan has a 2.5 point lead.
The tipping time for the entire tournament was announced on Sunday evening.
The Wolverines placed 11th in the South Region. The state of Colorado ranks sixth. The winner will play Saturday the winner of the game between 3-seeded Tennessee and 14-seeded Longwood.

The NCAA Tournament officially kicks off Tuesday with a couple of play games; Two more play-offs will take place on Wednesday. Everything will take place in Dayton, Ohio. First round games are played at eight different venues across the country on Thursday and Friday.
Michigan’s first leg will occasionally overlap with Providence vs. South Dakota State, Boise State vs. Memphis, and Baylor vs. Norfolk State. Tennessee and Longwood are scheduled to start at 2:45, although that depends on when Michigan’s game ends. Both will be played at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the venue for last week’s Big Ten tournament.
