Netanyahu presents first plan for post war Gaza Strip

Benjamin Netanyahu unveiled for the first time a post-war plan for the Gaza Strip that calls for Israeli military control in the region and the appointment of Palestinians, replacing Hamas, to be responsible for running the enclave. After keeping his cards close to his chest for more than four months, the Israeli prime minister decided to reveal his intentions. On Thursday evening, he presented his Cabinet with a single-page outline of his plans for the Gaza Strip, after war was sparked by Hamas massacres in southern Israel on October 7.
