Netflix fans are urging people not to watch ‘terrifying’ new drama ‘Witness Number 3’ alone
Witness Number 3 was released on Channel 5 last year but has enjoyed a renaissance following its recent Netflix debut.
But TV fans who have been watching the drama on the streaming giant are warning other potential viewers not to watch it alone.
The British crime series follows single mother Jodie – played by Nina Toussaint-White – whose life is thrown into turmoil after witnessing a murderer and his victim just before the murder.
One user responded to the show on Twitter by saying, “If you’re watching Witness #3 on Netflix, DO NOT watch it alone like I did.”
Another asked, “Has anyone seen Witness Number 3 on Netflix?” I’m just getting started on episode 2 and it’s driving me nuts.’

However, many of you and others have done so while also urging people to watch the four-part series if they can.
After Nina goes to the police, it becomes clear that dark forces are at play to ensure her silence in a storyline that “captivates” viewers throughout the four 45-minute episodes.
You wonder how far you would go to do the right thing.
One viewer recommended it, saying, “If you’re into crime and need something to watch, Witness Number 3 on Netflix is ace.”
“I watched half of it tonight and was terrified of seeing the next one tomorrow.”
Similarly, in the wee hours of the morning, someone posted that saying they’d watched the crime drama was “not the best idea.”
But many were unequivocal in their recommendations, describing Diarmuid Goggins’ series as “soooo good” and “worth a look” with a “great ending”.
Witness Number 3 – first released in July 2022 – also stars Sue Johnstone and Ruaridh Mollica.
