Netflix released the first trailer for the sixth and final season of The Crown on Thursday. The focus is on Princess Diana’s fatal accident and the omnipresence of the paparazzi in her life.

The trailer is full of sweetness and sadness, but this tragic accident that shocked the entire planet on August 31, 1997 is still its main plot, the end point of a life in the spotlight.
We see actress Elizabeth Debicki, who plays Diana Spencer, hidden behind dark glasses, pursued by photographers, on a boat, in a car, everywhere. “The press is constantly after us,” says Elizabeth Debicki. Then a piece of paper that says: “Paris next week? », a taste of the upcoming drama.
The latest season of The Crown chronicles the reign of Queen Elizabeth II between 1997 and 2005, the era of Prime Minister Tony Blair, the beginning of the romance between William and Kate, the wedding of Charles and Camilla and – above all – the tragic after the Princess of Wales died in a car crash in Paris while being pursued by photographers.
“I don’t understand how I ended up here, always moving and losing sight of myself. I think it’s the story of my entire life,” says Elizabeth Debicki.
The sixth season of “The Crown” is the first to be produced following the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022. The first four episodes will be available on Netflix on November 16th, with the other six on December 14th.
