This never-before-seen footage captures moments of tragedy, showing the golf cart carrying newlyweds Aric and Samantha Hutchinson in the final leg of a night that has become infamous for the devastating accident that killed her just minutes later.
Surveillance footage from the road where the crash occurred, obtained exclusively by , shows the golf cart transporting the newlyweds and two other family members.
They pass a house on East Ashley Avenue on Folly Island as they return from Hutchinson, 36, and Samantha’s wedding reception around 10:11 p.m. on April 28.
Just hours earlier, the newlyweds posed for photos with family and friends on South Carolina’s idyllic sandy beach three miles away, then danced and laughed at the reception at the Folly County Park pavilion.
Samantha told her friends she wished the day would “never end.”

The golf cart, seen today in grainy black and white, hauling ‘just married’ wedding decorations behind it, takes 23 seconds to drive across the image.
Two minutes later, a car driven by 25-year-old Jamie Lee Komoroski sped past the same camera.
Jamie Lee Komoroski, 25, is pictured in a mugshot following last month’s fatal accident in which she killed a bride on their wedding night
At about four times the speed of the golf cart, he is out of sight within six seconds – on his horrific collision course and only seven hundred yards from where he hit the golf cart.
Drunk at the wheel, Komoroski covered the distance in seconds. With more than three times the legal alcohol limit, she drove at a speed of up to 100 km/h in the 25-mile zone, according to the police.
Aric’s brother-in-law, Benjamin Garrett, drove the golf cart while his young son, Brogan, sat next to him in the passenger seat. Aric and his bride rode behind.
The whole horrifying affair was over within five minutes of the golf cart first coming into view in this footage.
Minutes after Komoroski’s speedy Toyota Camry sped by, a terrifying column of police cars and ambulances followed, their lights flashing.
Samantha, 28, died at the scene while her husband and two others sustained serious injuries.
Hutchinson was discharged from hospital after suffering a brain hemorrhage for ten days and undergoing multiple reconstructive surgeries to repair broken bones in his legs and face, as well as fractured vertebrae.
Speaking from his wheelchair at a beachside memorial service for his late wife last week, Hutchinson said: “She would have loved it.” This is Sam, she is a beach girl through and through.
“We go here almost every morning and this is her goodbye for sure.’ She’s up there and she’s definitely smiling.’
He has filed a civil suit against Komoroski and the bars they served.

Komoroski was charged with three counts of driving under the influence resulting in death and/or serious bodily harm. She is currently being held without bail at Sheriff Al Canon Detention Center in North Charleston.
Her lawyers filed a motion last week saying she posed no flight risk or a danger to the community as they supported her release on bail.
“Jamie Lee Komoroski’s personal attributes, coupled with her strong family support and community ties, strongly support her release from custody,” the filing reads.
It also revealed that she had struggled with alcohol addiction, depression and anxiety for years.
“Jamie, with the support of her family, is determined and ready to engage in intensive, inpatient substance abuse and mental health rehabilitation immediately upon her release,” the filing reads.
Earlier this week, a video was released of Komoroski crying that her “life was over” during a call from a county jail
Komoroski had a blood alcohol level three times the legal limit when she crashed a Toyota Camry into newlyweds Samantha, 34, and Aric Hutchinson, 36
Earlier this week, a video was released of Komoroski crying that her “life was over” during a call from a county jail.
Two days after the accident, while on the phone with her parents, she exclaimed, “Oh my God.” I just can’t believe this happened to me. … Why me? … I’ll be here for years and years and years and years.’
“I can’t believe this is my life… my whole life will be over,” she added.
Her father tried to comfort her, but also forcefully told her it was time to “get a handle on it” and “get tough.”
“I can’t,” she replied. “I want it to be over.”
Komoroski’s father also told her that she had to adjust to life in prison, that she could come out of it a better person, but that “it would have to serve time”.
In a strange twist, it emerged last week that Traci was also once involved in a fatal car accident.
In 2013, Komoroski’s 62-year-old mother killed forest fire warden Jeffery Scheuerer when she couldn’t see him because of heavy smoke while he was fighting a blaze in Clinton Township, New Jersey.
It was a “tragic accident” as a sudden shift in wind obscured his fire engine, which partially blocked one lane, and blocked his flashing lights. No charges were brought.
Komoroski’s new bail request will be heard at her next court date on June 16.
