The tragedy continues to haunt residents of North-du-Quebec, who are being evacuated due to the progression of a wildfire.

Citizens of Val-Paradis and Beaucanton are forced to evacuate their homes “because of the proximity of a forest fire”. The campsite near Lac Pajegasque is also subject to the evacuation order.
These sectors, located near the village of Normal, are being evacuated for the second time since early June.

“If you find yourself in these areas, evacuate immediately and go to the Cité Étudiante Polyno, Main Road 500, La Sarre. Follow local authority guidelines. For more information, visit ALERT.gouv.qc.ca or local media,” the Quebec Ministry of Public Safety said.
