What is known about the death of Euphoria member Kevin Turen?
Kevin Turen was a producer of the acclaimed series and also worked on other productions such as “The Idol”.
According to media outlets such as Chron, he died suddenly at just 44 years old, as reported this Sunday, November 12th.
The producer’s father, Edward Turen, confirmed the news in a statement late Sunday night.
“Kevin was so special Without him this world will be less” he said in a statement to Deadline. The cause of his death was not immediately announced.
Jay Penske, CEO of PMC, Deadline’s parent company, and a close friend of the deceased, said: “Despite his many successes in Hollywood Kevin’s greatest passion was his family and friends“.
” He was very proud of his children.. He and his wife Evelina decided that their children would grow up with great values and ensured that they made a difference in the world at large. Our collective heart breaks for them and We all feel a deep sense of loss.“he said in a statement quoted by Deadline.
” We will miss Kevin very much. and this city has lost one of its brightest rising stars today,” he concluded. The producer is survived by his wife and two sons, Jack and James.
Kevin Turen was not only a producer of the series “Euphoria”, but also of films such as “The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent”, with Nicolas Cage and Pedro Pascal, with whom he can be seen in the photo on the right.

Who was Kevin Turen?
According to the Chron, Kevin Turen was born in Manhattan and studied film at Columbia University.
He made his debut as a producer in 2005 in the independent film “Wassup Rockers” by director Larry Clark.
He also produced “Operation Endgame,” a film written by “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson.
Other films on which he served as a producer include “Arbitrage,” starring Richard Gere; and “All Is Lost” with Robert Redford.
He recently worked with Nicolas Cage and Pedro Pascal on The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.
The young artist died “from a lethal combination of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine and a suspected accidental overdose,” a coroner’s spokesman told CNN last September.
