New LPHF team names revealed?

The names of the six teams that make up the Professional Women’s Hockey League (LPHF) would have been registered in an American copyright database on Wednesday.

According to Radio-Canada, the Montreal-based club would be called Montreal Echo, while those in Toronto and Ottawa would be called Torch and Alert, respectively.

The other three groups would be New York Sound, Boston Wicked and Minnesota Superior.

As a reminder, training camps in the LPHF begin on November 15th, while the regular season begins in early January.

However, we will have to wait for an announcement from the league until the new names of the six clubs are official.
