A new season of the Académie du Guide de l’auto show – produced and directed by Luke Bélanger – arrives on TVA on September 16th and on TVA Sport 1 and 2 the next day.
The show, hosted by Patrick Benoit, pits twelve celebrity duos against each other in a range of competitions including slaloms, fast cornering and more. This year, electric models and plug-in hybrids are the focus of the program.
True to the post, Auto Guide columnist Antoine Joubert will share his advice on buying electric vehicles and update guests on the week’s car highlights.
A 100% electric road trip
The academy also takes the opportunity to introduce the 100% electric rally. Olympic champion Charles Hamelin and his partner Geneviève Tardif will cross Canada aboard the Polestar 2, the show’s top car.
You will drive through five provinces, covering 700 to 900 km per day. The aim is to show that it is possible to travel long distances with an electric vehicle and that the infrastructure is developing ever faster to accommodate electric cars.
This is an event you shouldn’t miss! Car Guide Academy will air on TVA starting September 16th at 11:30 a.m. and on TVA Sport 1 and 2 on September 17th at 6:00 p.m. In the first episode, Antoine Olivier Pilon and Antoine Pilon will cross swords aboard the Kia EV6.
