The company Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. in cooperation with the Defense Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense, has successfully completed a test of the advanced air defense system Spyder in a new and unique configuration – All in One.
The test involved intercepting a UAV in a demanding mission, intercepting the target with a direct and accurate hit.
The Spyder system is an advanced air defense system from Rafael that is operationally deployed by multiple militaries around the world, providing air defense solutions at varying ranges and against a variety of aerial threats, including drones, aircraft, helicopters and even tactical ballistic missiles. Missiles (TBMs).
An experiment conducted last week in Israel tested a series of scenarios simulating existing and future threats, in which the Spyder All-in-One system intercepted a UAV with a direct and precise hit in a demanding operational scenario.
