New York prepares for the smoke in Quebec

New York City is preparing for another smog period due to the Quebec wildfires.

According to the New York Post, the city of New York has issued a warning to the public. As of Wednesday, the Big Apple expects air quality that could be dangerous for vulnerable populations.

“Due to winds and wildfires in Canada, air quality could drop significantly,” Mayor Eric Adams wrote on Twitter. We’ll update New Yorkers on the outside conditions and the actions they should be taking to stay healthy.

Fox meteorologist Samantha Thomas said city residents are likely to experience “moderate” air quality on Wednesday and Thursday.
