According to the New York Post and the ESPN network, the star pitcher reportedly signed the bottom of a six-year, $162 million deal.

Rodon played with the San Francisco Giants in 2022 after spending the first seven years of his career with the Chicago White Sox.

During the last two campaigns, the Floridian was invited to the All-Star Game and also placed fifth and sixth in the voting for the Cy Young Trophy.

He posted a 14-8 record and a 2.88 ERA with the Giants last season.

During his career, Rodon conceded 731 hits and 91 homers in 847 1/3 innings.

The 30-year-old athlete is making up for the absence of Jameson Taillon, who joined the Chicago Cubs in the offseason. Gerrit Cole, Nestor Cortes, Luis Severino and Frankie Montas are also part of the Bronx Bombers’ pitching rotation.
