Stan Originals released the documentary series about the club entitled Dawn of the Dolphins chronicling the formation of the newest club in the NRL.

This three-part series gives fans an exclusive look at the thrills and challenges leading up to the Redcliffe Dolphins’ first NRL season — and a rare glimpse into the mind of super coach Bennett.

In the trailer alone, Bennett made the startling revelation that the new franchise put many people’s careers on the line in order to become a successful long-term franchise for the people of southeast Queensland.

Dolphins chief executive Terry Reader said the documentary would give new fans a glimpse of how an NRL club was built from the ground up.

“Giving audiences a behind-the-scenes look at our dressing room, meetings and training sessions will showcase the hard work that many passionate people have put in behind the scenes to create an NRL club,” he said.

“We can’t wait to get our season started and viewers to welcome us into their homes and hopefully attract new fans and members of the Dolphins.”

Cailah Scobie, Stan’s chief content officer, added that the documentary would also provide a rare glimpse into how Bennett works.
