Fernanda Campos, Neymar’s alleged lover, published an open letter on her social media in which she spoke about her collaboration with the sportsman. The influencer acknowledged the criticism she received after the case came to light and shared screenshots of some of the messages she received.
In the post, Fernanda explained, “For more than a month, some people still insist on insulting me with comments and messages like this.” Just one thing I have to say: it wasn’t me who invited someone to my house, let alone me who was in a relationship, and finally, the comments don’t offend me.”
She also thanked the women who had sent messages telling stories similar to hers: “At the same time, I see thousands of women sending me messages saying they’ve been through the same situation. Or mine or that of the betrayed woman who often has to put up with silence? Thank you for the messages of affection and sisterhood. So if some still want to see me as the villain of the story, nice to meet you!”
The case generated a huge response on social media and in the media, but Fernanda said she was not shaken by the criticism and that she is sharing her story to help other women who may be going through similar situations.
