The Carolina Panthers offered the moon to the first-ever pick in the last NFL draft, quarterback Bryce Young.
According to the ESPN network, the two camps have agreed on the terms of a four-year contract with a total guaranteed value of $37.9 million.
The 21-year-old had 3,328 passing yards and 32 touchdowns in 12 games last season with the University of Alabama Crimson Tide.

The first choice at the last Goodell Circuit auction initially belonged to the Chicago Bears. They eventually traded him to the Panthers, which, along with several other draft picks, earned them wide receiver DJ Moore, their ninth overall pick of 2023.
Young is expected to make his NFL debut on Sept. 10 when the Panthers visit the Falcons in Atlanta.
