Canadian quarterback Nathan Rourke has clear intentions of earning a spot with the Jacksonville Jaguars after a solid performance in his team’s convincing 25-7 win over the Detroit Lions on Saturday at Ford Field in Detroit.
Rourke went head-to-head in the third quarter and impressed again.

The former BC Lions completed 10 of 12 passes for 121 yards.
A native of Victoria, British Columbia, he demonstrated his second offensive run by piling up 64 yards in 17 games. It all ended with a touchdown from running back D’Ernest Johnson.
A little later in the game, Johnson also put on another middle finger.
Detroit Lions receiver Chase Cota was the only one who brought his team to the point in the duel.
A good excursion for Tua Tagovailoa and the dolphins
Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa excelled in his first preseason start that led to a 28-3 triumph over the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium in Houston.
The Miami formation center completed five of his six passes for a total of 65 yards. However, he was intercepted on the first pass attempt in the game.
The Dolphins will wrap up their pre-season campaign against one of their Florida rivals, the Jacksonville Jaguars, next Saturday.
