Despite having a very good training camp with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Canadian quarterback Nathan Rourke saw his name on waivers.
All NFL teams had to make heartbreaking decisions Monday in order to have a regular roster to start the season. The 25-year-old center is among the players the Florida team sacrificed but hopes to retain his services, the NFL Network reported.

Unless Rourke is claimed by another Goodell Circuit formation, he could join the Jags’ training team and continue to wear their colors.
The former BC Lions were able to convince in three preparatory games. He completed 23 of 35 passes for 348 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions. One of his plays went viral when he blocked pressure from several Dallas Cowboys players before throwing a pass for the major.
Rourke is trying to earn a spot in the NFL after two CHL campaigns. After an excellent start to the 2022 season, he was injured and missed the second half of the game. He had an excellent pass success rate of 78.7% and threw 25 touchdown passes in 10 games.
