Note to Fantasy Football fans: Several key players were injured this Sunday.
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson will be out for at least a month.
The NFL Network learned this on Monday, one day after a 23-16 win against the Tennessee Titans. The first-year pivot is reportedly suffering from a serious injury to his right shoulder, the arm he uses to throw the ball.
Richardson was injured on a four-yard run late in the second quarter. He immediately told his trainers that there was a problem with his shoulder. The young man went towards the locker room and then didn’t return.
This is the second injury suffered by the fourth overall pick in the last NFL Draft. A concussion forced him to miss the Week 3 game, a 22-19 overtime win over the Baltimore Ravens.
So far this season, Richardson has completed 59.5% of the passes he has attempted for 577 yards and three touchdowns, while also being the victim of a steal. He also rushed for 136 yards and four majors with his legs.
It was Gardner Minshew who replaced Richardson in action during his two crashes. The quarterback, who previously played for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Philadelphia Eagles, is expected to be the starter for the Colts until the 21-year-old returns healthy.
We in Minnesota are concerned
The start of the 2023 season is very difficult for the Minnesota Vikings and star player Justin Jefferson was unable to finish Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Vikings lost that game 27-20 and are now 1-4. The wide receiver left the game in the fourth quarter after injuring his right hamstring.

“It’s still too early [pour se prononcer]” said head coach Kevin O’Connell when discussing the severity of Jefferson’s injury in a postgame press conference.
“Justin has done a phenomenal job over the last three and a half years of staying healthy and being there every week, which is hard to do,” quarterback Kirk Cousins said. This injury makes us reflect and realize that we are grateful to be healthy. I think we have the players who can try to make up for this loss.
This season, Jefferson has caught 36 passes for 571 yards and three touchdowns.
Other serious injuries include New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones. Due to a neck injury, he was unable to finish the game against the Miami Dolphins (31:16 loss).
