Jackson revealed in a post on his Twitter account that he had asked for a compromise earlier this month.
“Let me personally answer your questions about my future plans,” Jackson wrote to his followers. On March 2nd I applied for a trade with the Ravens organization who have no interest in recognizing my worth. Anyone who has ever met or knows me knows that I love football and that helping a team is my dream.

However, the Baltimore team had decided to give the quarterback a non-exclusive franchise player day on March 7th. This feature allows the Ravens to match an offer Jackson would accept from another NFL team or receive compensation or draft picks if they decide to let him go.
“I didn’t see his tweet. It’s an ongoing process that I, like everyone else, follow very closely. [chez les Ravens]. I’m hoping for a resolution,” said Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, who held a media briefing on the sidelines of the Arizona owners’ meeting on Monday.
“I keep thinking about Lamar,” he continued. I see him as our quarterback. We’re building our offense and we think he’s going to be our quarterback. We are building on that idea.”
Jackson has been recognized as one of the most exciting footballers in the NFL since he was a starter, which was the 2019 campaign earlier this year.
In 2022, Jackson was limited to 12 games due to injury. The center passed 62.3% of his passes for 2,242 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also mustered 764 yards and three majors with his legs.
