The Minnesota Vikings announced Friday that wide receiver Justin Jefferson is questionable ahead of Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints.
The star player has been sidelined since the fifth week due to a thigh injury. He therefore missed his team’s last four games.
Those who drafted Jefferson early in their fantasy football league will likely have to wait a little longer before bringing him back into their lineup.
Last Wednesday, when the Vikings opened the 21-day window for their football player to return to practice, head coach Kevin O’Connell said “it would be a little aggressive” to play receiver against the Saints.
“It’s a serious injury because it’s persistent,” Jefferson said Thursday. They want me 100% and that’s what I want too. I don’t want to get to 80% or 90% and risk getting injured again.
Since arriving in the NFL, the 24-year-old athlete has led the way with 5,396 receiving yards and scored 28 touchdowns in 55 games.

Here comes Deebo Samuel again
Wide receiver Deebo Samuel will play for the San Francisco 49ers in Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
This is what the ESPN network learned.
Due to a shoulder injury, the 27-year-old footballer had to miss the Californian club’s last two games.
The 49ers will hope Samuel’s return helps them snap out of their torpor. The team from the West Section of the national team has lost its last three games and has a record of 5-3.
In six games so far in 2023, Samuel has caught 20 of 32 passes thrown his way for 302 yards and a touchdown. He also totaled 95 yards and a major on carries.
