Dolphins at Chiefs

Time: Sunday, 9:30 a.m. ET (NFL Network), stream on fubo (try for free)
Open: Chiefs -5.5, O/U 50.5

Recommended Game | Kansas City Chiefs vs. Miami Dolphins

“The Dolphins have played two teams this year that currently have a winning record – Philadelphia and Buffalo – and they lost those two games by an average of 21 points. They can’t beat good teams and I’m not sure they’ll play.” This game in another country will change that. And if I have one rule here, it’s that I’ll never fight Patrick Mahomes when he’s losing. Mahomes has won eight straight losing games, the longest streak of any QB in the NFL.”

Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins may have the NFL’s best offense and have multiple MVP candidates on their roster, but NFL expert John Breech of CBS Sports isn’t betting against the reigning champions. Check out all of his Week 9 ATS bets here.

Vikings at Falcons

Time: Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET (Fox), streaming on fubo (try for free)
Open: Falcons -1.5, O/U 41.5

Recommended Game | Atlanta Falcons vs. Minnesota Vikings

“The Vikings downgraded their quarterback position while the Falcons moved up. Kirk Cousins, of course, suffered a torn Achilles tendon last week, forcing rookie Jaren Hall into the lineup for the time being, while Falcons head coach Arthur Smith inserted Desmond Ridder in place of Taylor Heinicke. Ridder led the NFL in giveaways with 12. … Atlanta’s defense looked good this year until Will Levis surprisingly crushed it. I don’t expect Hall to throw four touchdowns against the Falcons like the kid from Kentucky did last week.

That’s CBS Sports NFL expert Jordan Dajani rooting for the Falcons’ rebuild. Check out all of his Week 9 predictions here.

Cardinals at Browns

Time: Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET (CBS), streaming on Paramount+ (click here)
Open: Browns -7.5, O/U 39.5

Recommended Game | Cleveland Browns vs. Arizona Cardinals

“Arizona will start fifth-round rookie Clayton Tune in this game. This is the toughest entry into the NFL imaginable for the youngster, as he faces a Browns defense in Cleveland that can torment even the most experienced signal-callers. The Browns defense is the best in the league on third downs (28.3% opponent conversion rate) and allows just 260 yards of total offense per game. Myles Garrett also has 8.5 sacks on the year and can ruin you. “The game is on its own when he’s firing on all cylinders. This game has the potential to be big no matter what Cleveland’s offense looks like.”

CBS Sports NFL expert Tyler Sullivan doesn’t give Arizona much of a chance here. Check out all of his picks for Week 9 here.

Rams at Packers

Time: Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET (Fox), streaming on fubo (try for free)
Open: Rams -1.5, O/U 43.5

Recommended Game | Green Bay Packers vs. Los Angeles Rams

“These are back-to-back road games for the Rams after being dominated by the Cowboys last week. And Matthew Stafford is injured. The Packers didn’t look good last week when they lost at home to the Vikings, but their season is on the line here, and I think they’ll play like that. That’s CBS Sports senior columnist Pete Prisco confident Green Bay can finally get back on track at Lambeau. Check out all of his Week 9 ATS predictions here.

Commanders at Patriots

Time: Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET (Fox), streaming on fubo (try for free)
Open: Patriots -2.5, O/U 39

Recommended Game | New England Patriots vs. Washington Commanders

The SportsLine projection model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, has the top-rated NFL picks from the 2017 season at 174-123. Since Week 7 of last season, the record for the highest-rated NFL picks is also 28-15. After simulating every Week 9 snap, one of the best combo picks for a potential 25-1 payout is clear: The Patriots are covering at home against the Commanders in well over 50% of simulations after Washington has both Chase Young and Montez Sweat swapped. The full breakdown can be found here.

Bears at Saints

Time: Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET (CBS), streaming on Paramount+ (click here)
Open: Saints -5.5, O/U 40.5

Recommended Game | New Orleans Saints vs. Chicago Bears

SportsLine’s simulation model has seen top-rated NFL picks gain well over $7,000 since its inception for $100 players. The model also ranked in the top 10 in straight NFL picks on NFLPickWatch over the past six years, beating more than 94% of CBS Sports’ football pick’em players four times during that period. Now we can tell you that the Saints (-8.5) are covering in nearly 60% of simulations against the Bears in Week 9, making it one of the strongest bets on the list. Find the full breakdown here at SportsLine.

Seahawks at Ravens

Time: Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET (CBS), streaming on Paramount+ (click here)
Open: Ravens -4.5, O/U 42.5

Recommended Game | Baltimore Ravens vs. Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks just picked up a narrow win over the Browns’ top defense, which means they head to Baltimore to face Lamar Jackson and the Ravens in Week 9, and that means they’ll be looking to pick up their third win in a row. They will also have a revamped defensive line, with former Giants standout Leonard Williams in tow after the trade deadline. Does Seattle have what it takes to make a splash on the road? Or are the Ravens about to confirm that they are among the AFC’s top contenders? SportsLine expert Jason La Canfora has a confident bet on this matchup, as well as other key games in Week 9. Find his analysis here.

Buccaneers at Texans

Time: Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET (CBS), streaming on Paramount+ (click here)
Open: Texans -2.5, O/U 39.5

Recommended Game | Houston Texans vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

“These teams are basically the same team. You could call them the Houston Buccaneers and the Tampa Bay Texans. They both had disappointing offensive days. Tampa Bay’s defense ranks 32nd but ranks first in the red zone. Houston’s defense is very similar. Both defenses are great against the run, and both offenses can’t run. I think giving Tampa the three points after a long break is the right way to go. I don’t think Houston wins this game, it will be by more than three.

Colts at Panthers

Time: Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET (CBS), streaming on Paramount+ (click here)
Open: Colts -2.5, O/U 43

Recommended Game | Carolina Panthers vs. Indianapolis Colts

“Do you believe in miracles? No, okay, good. Do you believe in Revenge Games™️? Great, because this is the perfect Revenge Game™️. Frank Reich was fired as Colts coach for Jeff Saturday midway through the season last year. If you don’t know the details, here’s a quick download: Reich won a Super Bowl as offensive coordinator, and Saturday hadn’t coached above the high school level before this year. However, Jeff is not to blame; Jim Irsay is to blame. And Lil’ Jimmy Irsay is missing his quarterback and is only equipped with Gardner Minshew. The Panthers aren’t good and the Colts aren’t bad, but Indy shouldn’t be favored on the road here. Bryce Young probably got the game ball last week, but even if Reich did, I can just imagine David Tepper giving him another one, patting him on the back and getting a roar of laughter for Irsay.”

CBS Sports senior writer Will Brinson springs an upset on the home underdogs. Check out all of his Week 9 analysis here.

Giants at Raiders

Time: Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET (Fox), stream on fubo (try for free)
Open: Raiders -3, O/U 39.5

Recommended Game | Las Vegas Raiders vs. New York Giants

“Getting a team to stay within a touchdown of a Raiders team that can’t score seems like a pretty good move. But the Giants have also had trouble scoring points basically all season. Due to Darren Waller’s injury, he’s also the most reliable pass catcher, so I just can’t trust this team to score more than 7-10 points. I’d also like to point out that the Raiders are likely getting a coaching upgrade this week with the firing of Josh McDaniels, and many teams have seen an uptick in performance after firing a reviled head coach. Expect the team to put in a big effort in hopes of beating a bad Giants team and giving interim coach Antonio Pierce a win in his coaching debut. I would imagine it will ultimately be something like a 20-10 win in Las Vegas.”

SportsLine expert RJ White, coming off a 9-0 week making ATS picks, likes Las Vegas at home, even with staff turnover. Check out his full breakdown of Week 9 picks, including top teaser plays, here.

Cowboys at Eagles

Time: Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET (Fox), stream on fubo (try for free)
Open: Eagles -3, O/U 46.5

Recommended Game | Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys

“In his last three starts against the Eagles, Dak Prescott has not only gone 3-0, but the Cowboys have also averaged 44 points per game. In those three wins, Prescott threw 11 touchdowns compared to just one interception. I don’t know why, but the Eagles seem to be getting the best out of Dak. … On the Eagles’ side, Jalen Hurts is still limping around and I’m not sure how he’ll handle the Cowboys’ pass rush. I won’t It’s surprising if he struggles, but even if he does find time to throw the ball, the Cowboys have two corners (Stephon Gilmore and DaRon Bland) good enough to tackle AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith brake. I hate this game in Philadelphia. I’m picking against the Eagles, but I’m going to do it anyway.

CBS Sports NFL expert John Breech likes to see “America’s Team” stun the Birds on the road. Find all of his tips for Week 9 here.

CBS Sports Fantasy and Gaming Editor RJ White has twice won big money at the world’s most prestigious handicapping tournament, the Westgate Las Vegas SuperContest. His Vegas content selection is 376-290-24 (56.5 percent). And he shares these five weekly tips on SportsLine. We can tell you he prefers the Cowboys, but you’ll want to head over to SportsLine for a full breakdown of his Week 8 contest picks. Here’s a little foretaste:

“The Eagles are the last team left in the league with a loss, but they don’t play like that. Jalen Hurts’ injury is affecting his rushing ability, a key component of the Eagles’ offense, and the team ranks 24th in interception percentage. That said, going up against a Cowboys defense that’s lagging in interceptions isn’t ideal. Rate is number one and has dominated several games this season.

Bills at Bengals

Time: Sunday, 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC), stream on fubo (try for free)
Open: Bills -1.5, O/U 46.5

Recommended Game | Cincinnati Bengals vs. Buffalo Bills

“The Bengals have come back to life after a slow start due to Joe Burrow’s calf injury early in the season, which really impacted the offense. Buffalo played looser against the Bucs last week and they have three additional days of rest. This will be an entertaining offensive game that goes right to the end. It’s close, but the Bengals will win it late.”

That’s CBS Sports senior columnist Pete Prisco predicting a high-octane thriller for Sunday night’s contest in Cincinnati. To see all of Pete’s tips for Week 9, click here.

Chargers at Jets

Time: Monday, 8:15 p.m. ET (ESPN, ABC), stream on fubo (try for free)
Open: Chargers -2.5, O/U 42.5

Recommended Game | New York Jets vs. Los Angeles Chargers
