NFL: Patrick Mahomes wants to learn from Tom Brady

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes said he spoke to Tom Brady this week for advice ahead of the NFL’s American Conference Finals.

“I spoke to Tom a little bit, I have a good relationship with him now and he gives me a lot of advice,” Mahomes told NBC Sports. Why wouldn’t you want to learn some GOAT [en anglais, “Greatest of All Time”]? If someone like that wants to give me advice, I take it into account. It’s good to hear the boys you grew up talking to you like that.

Brady always had the upper hand in 15th place. In Mahome’s first All-American championship game after the 2018 season, he won the game with the New England Patriots. He also had the last laugh at the 2020 Super Bowl season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The 27-year-old center led his team to their fifth straight conference finals with a 27-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday. The latter sprained his ankle in the last game but plans to play the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
