NFL star Jimmy Graham is ARRESTED just weeks after his sensational return to New Orleans… when cops found him “wandering in traffic” and “under the influence of a controlled substance.”

New Orleans tight end Jimmy Graham was reportedly arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance after officers found him in traffic.

The 36-year-old made a high-profile return to his former team this season but news of his arrest may have hit his comeback hard.

TMZ reports that Graham was found behaving erratically near a Southern California resort on Friday night.

It is alleged that he resisted arrest when police tried to handcuff him and was eventually charged with suspected being under the influence of a controlled substance and with resisting, delaying and obstructing a police officer.

The Saints star was in Cali with his team preparing for Sunday’s preseason game against the Los Angeles Chargers. He has since been released and the incident is being investigated.

New Orleans practiced alongside their opponents this week and Graham was heavily involved and regularly seen on his pads alongside his teammates all week.

Graham also played in the Saints’ preseason game with the Chiefs last week as he prepared for his first year in New Orleans since leaving in 2014.

Drafted by the team in 2010, he spent five years of regular time before joining the Seahawks, Packers and Bears.

Graham, now 36 and in the final years of his career, is expected to return to the field after spending 2022 on the sidelines after his contract ended in Chicago.

In May 2023, he was involved in a bicycle accident when he was hit by a car. He suffered a laceration on his calf that required stitches, but that didn’t slow down his comeback.

The tight end is a five-time Pro Bowler and a 12-year NFL veteran.
