The phrase “a guy tries” ultimately paid off for Travis Kelce, who, after failing to give Taylor Swift his phone number during one of her concerts, has reportedly been seen in her company in recent weeks.

The last Super Bowl champion revealed during an episode of the New Heights podcast in July that he tried to talk to the popular American singer to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it.
“I was disappointed to learn that she doesn’t speak before or after her concerts to preserve her voice for the 44 songs she sings,” he joked to his brother Jason. The story quickly went viral on social media.
However, according to Messenger, the Cruel Summer interpreter and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end started talking to each other after the anecdote made the rounds on social media.
“Taylor and Travis started spending time together privately,” an anonymous source said. She saw it when she was in New York a few weeks ago.”
None of the stars have confirmed the rumors.
However, on another episode of the New Heights podcast, Travis Kelce claimed that he was in New York on August 31st.
When his brother Jason actually asked him what he did for his weekend, Travis gave a very vague answer.
“What did I do? I don’t remember it. I don’t think I did much,” he replied.
When his brother insisted, Travis admitted that he had “disappeared.”
“I think I was in New York,” he added before changing the subject.
Elsewhere in the episode, Jason commented on his brother’s mustache and asked, “What Taylor Swift would think of it.”
“We’re not going to talk about Taylor Swift this episode,” Travis said, visibly uncomfortable. But I think she’ll like it.”
