The Dallas Cowboys won the National Eastern Section championship thanks to a 38-10 victory over the Washington Commanders on Sunday at FedEx Field.
The Cowboys (12-5) were primarily carried by their star quarterback Dak Prescott, who threw four touchdown passes. He finished his night of work with 31 completed passes on 36 attempts and 279 yards receiving.

CeeDee Lamb, twice, Jalen Tolbert, Brandin Cooks and Tony Pollard also reached the end zone of their evening opponents. The latter also had an impressive game, reaching 70 yards on the ground on 16 carries, more than all Commanders runners combined (50 yards).
For the Commanders (4-13), Brian Robinson Jr. scored the lone major for the local favorites. Sam Howell, opposite Prescott, had a touchdown pass and recorded 153 passing yards.
A difficult evening for the Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles (11-6) certainly didn't think their final game of the regular season would be so chaotic, especially since they were facing the New York Giants (6-11), one of the worst teams in the NFL.
The Pennsylvania team had to win on Sunday and hope for a loss against the Cowboys in order to be crowned group winners. In the end, she buried what little hope she had with a 27-10 defeat.
Philadelphia suffered several scares, most notably when Jalen Hurts injured his finger after attempting a pass. The team didn't want to take any chances with the playoffs in mind and he didn't come to the game after the incident. It must be said that the star quarterback had a difficult outing up to that point, completing just seven passes out of 16 attempts.
Thanks to two touchdowns from Saquon Barkley and another from Darius Slayton, the Giants took a 24-0 lead after one half. Quez Watkins saved the Eagles' honor by scoring his team's only major.
The Packers will be there
The Green Bay Packers (9-8) are in the playoffs as they won 17-9 against the Chicago Bears (7-10).
Dontayvion Wicks was the great architect of his team's victory, scoring two touchdowns. The latter was served by Jordan Love each time before he got into the pay zone. The Wisconsin quarterback put on a show by amassing 316 yards on 27 successful throws.
All nine of the Bears' points were scored by kicker Cairo Santos.
