Here are the top tunes from Thursday’s Thanksgiving list!
New York Giants at the Dallas Cowboys
Denied!
Dallas went fourth and second on his first drive of the game, but Ezekiel Elliott couldn’t make the first down and the Cowboys flipped him on downs on their own side of the field.
Missed opportunity
The Giants tried to make the most of the small field, but Daniel Jones’ touchdown pass to Isaiah Hodgins was annulled after a costly penalty. New York opted for a field goal to end the drive and took a 3-0 lead.
double trouble
The Cowboys’ second drive didn’t end much better than the first. Dak Prescott was picked up just short of the Giants red zone and handed the ball back to NY.
get through!
Dallas went 7-3 early in the second quarter thanks to a big catch from CeeDee Lamb that put the Cowboys in the red zone…
…followed by a brief escape from Elliott to seal the deal.
HIGH!
Dallas’ lead was short-lived, however, as Darius Slayton brought in a stunning pass from Jones, who set up a 1-yard touchdown run from Saquon Barkley to put the Giants back 10-7 ahead.
no stop
Prescott leaned on Michael Gallup to make big plays for the Cowboys late in the second quarter…
… but once again the Cowboys’ ride ended prematurely because of a turnover.
Then Graham Gano nailed a 47-yard field goal before halftime to extend the Giants’ lead to 13-7.

New England Patriots vs Minnesota Vikings (8:20 p.m. ET)
Come!
Buffalo Bills 28, Detroit Lions 25
Lions on the board!
Lions running back Jamaal Williams took the handoff and ran to the center for a 2-yard touchdown to give Detroit a 7-0 early lead. The touchdown run was Williams’ league-leading 13th rushing score of the season.
picture book pass
It didn’t take long for the Bills to respond as Josh Allen hit a picture-perfect 19-yard touchdown with Isaiah McKenzie late in the first quarter.
The ball is loose!
The game’s first turnover came early in the second quarter when Williams took a handoff, ran to the center and then fumbled. Buffalo’s Ed Oliver recovered from the fumble and gave Buffalo a great field position.
Is there anything Allen can’t do?
The Bills capitalized on the fumble as they put together a 10-play scoring drive for 58 yards that was capped by an Allen touchdown run. He fumbled with the game’s snap, then picked it up, juketed a defender and ran it in for the result, giving Buffalo a 14-7 lead.
everyone eats
Jared Goff faked the handoff and threw a perfect pass to Amon-Ra St. Brown for a touchdown, leveling the game at 14-14. After the score, St. Brown made sure everyone on his offense ate their Thanksgiving dinner.
injury alert
Bill’s linebacker Von Miller suffered a knee injury late in the first half and was carted into the dressing room.
have a day!
Oliver held onto a 17-14 lead in the third quarter and had another big game when he released Goff to safety in the end zone.
Lions fight back
Goff fired a punch at DJ Chark for a 1-yard score to put the Lions ahead. Detroit added a two-point conversion to take a 22-19 lead.
Allen to Diggs for the score
What better connection in the NFL than Allen and Stefon Diggs? The two met for a huge 5-yard touchdown, leaving 2:40 in play. The Bills missed the extra point at 25:22.
TO THE. THE. TO WIN.
After the Lions added a field goal to level the game, Buffalo drove down field and Bass kicked a 45-yard field goal to win the game.
