For the second year in a row, there are two games on “Monday Night Football.”

Game 1 features a battle between two undefeated teams. One of those teams, the Philadelphia Eagles, was always expected to be in this position. The other, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, were considered one of the worst teams in the NFL.

That hasn’t been the case for two weeks. Baker Mayfield and Mike Evans did just enough to help the Buccaneers win two straight to start the season. The biggest test for the team is coming up on Monday. If they can hang in there with the Eagles, maybe people will start taking the Bucs seriously.

The second “Monday Night Football” game has two big surprises in store. After a miserable 2021, the Los Angeles Rams appear to be making a comeback. Matthew Stafford’s arm appears to be fully healthy and rookie wideout Puka Nacua looks like the steal of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Meanwhile, the Bengals look like a mess and will be playing with a disabled Joe Burrow in an 0-2 start. The team’s offense hasn’t really gotten going yet and Cincinnati is suddenly winless. Can the Bengals finally turn things around on Monday?
