A week ago, the bottom of the list was filled with players who might not have been convincing. Rookies took on the situation in Week 3, making the roster difficult and competitive to put together. There were some really good players who fell short and these will be discussed before the actual list.

Seahawks cornerback Tariq Woolen looked fantastic in both zone and man coverage on Sunday. He baited Falcons quarterback Marcus Mariota on a throw and intercepted a pass meant for Drake London. Jets edge rusher Jermaine Johnson II was destructive against the Bengals. He may not have made the big game, but he was effective in the running game and close to padding in his sack stats. Jets running back Breece Hall was a problem for Cincinnati in the passing game. Lions linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez remains consistent. Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs earned Aaron Rodgers’ trust with crisp route running. Green Bay made touches for him. The Saints used wide receiver Chris Olave as a major threat in the first two games and then kept him as a bottom option in Week 3. It is possible to use Passcatcher in multiple roles in the same game, New Orleans. Finally, the Bears have two good young defenders in edge rusher Dominique Robinson and safety Jaquan Brisker. Brisker has always been a playmaker but played a cleaner game in terms of missed tackles.

These rankings are not based on statistical performance, but on the overall gameplay. Without further ado, here are the cumulative regular season rookie rankings after the Week 3 promotion:
