NHL: Hendrix Lapierre recalled by Capitals

The Washington Capitals recalled forward Hendrix Lapierre on Friday.

The Quebecer has already played 25 games with the “Caps” in 2023-2024. He scored two goals and five assists for seven points.

With the Hershey Bears of the American League, Lapierre scored five goals and had 12 assists for 17 points in 21 games.

The Gatineau native was selected by the Capitals in the first round (22nd overall) of the 2020 draft.

The Washington club will return to action on Saturday night against the Florida Panthers as part of a visit to Sunrise.
