NHL: Huberdeau and the Flames rob Fleury of his 551st win

Marc-André Fleury had an opportunity to tie Patrick Roy for second place for most career wins in the National Hockey League (NHL), but the Calgary Flames had other ideas.

In fact, the Alberta club won 3-1 against the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday night. Fleury performed well, making 30 saves in the loss, but it wasn't enough for his 551st win since his NHL debut.

Additionally, Jonathan Huberdeau ended an 18-game losing streak without moving the ropes. In fact, he scored his fifth goal of the season in the first period, showing patience in front of Fleury before putting the puck in the net. The 30-year-old forward now has 17 points in 37 games.

Andrew Mangiapane and Blake Coleman also scored for the visitors. Pat Maroon answered for the local favorites.

The Quebec goaltender will have the opportunity to record his 551st career win on Thursday against the Tampa Bay Lightning if he is selected by John Hynes as the team's starting goaltender. As for the Flames, they will be back in action the same day against the Predators in Nashville.
